Couture designer inky black dress
This is a 1980s couture designer dress by Pallant London. It was a bespoke make for the buyer and was not an off-the-rack dress. This was over £1000 when new more than three decades ago. It is an inky black textured wool and silk mix fabric with shoulder straps and off shoulder design. It is maxi length with a slit to the front and a small train at the back. Zips up at the back. It is in perfect condition. This a rare piece as it is a one-off by Pallant London - the husband and wife team of Martin and Jean Pallant.
