Couture designer black dress with pearls
This is a 1980s couture designer dress by Pallant London. It was a bespoke make for the buyer and was not an off-the-rack dress. This was over £800 when new more than three decades ago. It is black crepe with a cream silk removable collar and cream silk cuffs. There are four pearl and gold buttons to front and three decorative pearl and gold buttons on each wrist. In perfect condition. This a rare piece as it is a one-off by Pallant London - the husband and wife team of Martin and Jean Pallant.
