I see so many amazing stylish products from fashion to furniture from beauty to books (and some dreadful ones too...) during my working week as a style journalist and as MD of Lovely's Vintage Emporium that I have decided to share some of them once a week on this blog - last week's 'vintage-ish finds of the week' blog covered a myriad of finds from a felt fox to a multi-bristle hairbrush.
Here are a few of my favourite vintage-ish finds this week:
We love this handmade sofa. Yes, it is £2,000 so it won't be winging its way back to Lovely's Towers anytime soon - but if we do win the lottery we can get it made in a choice of woods from oak to maple or black walnut or cherry. Also comes in green. OK, we will have two then...
These, frankly barking, metal tweezers come in the four colours above and are £4.95 each. I love them, even though the more I look at them the more they look like baby seals heads (particularly the blue one). Might just be me.
DOLLS: Wills'n'Kate Barbie
No words necessary...
This vintage fashion book is out in March but you can pre-order through Amazon for £20.35. I like the premise of the title (I haven't seen an advance copy yet) as who doesn't want clothes to be wearable but I am not convinced the bright green dress on the cover is particularly wearable.
BEAUTY: Oilily Beauty Bags
Beautifully colourful cosmetic and toiletry bags from a Dutch brand now available in the UK. Take a look at their website (not particularly well designed unlike the bags) as they have so many different designs it is impossible to show them all here. Prices start from £28.
VINTAGE FASHION: 1980s Chanel Scarf
Last but not least this fabulous silk, hand rolled CHANEL scarf in Navy blue and cream for just £149 from our very own Lovely's Vintage Emporium.
I hope you enjoyed my round-up! Please do comment in the box below as I do love to read your feedback.
