1940s 'VOGUE HAIR NET' UNUSED IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING
Unused Vogue Hair Net in original envelope from the 1940s
This is a very special find: a 'Vogue Hair Net' from the 1940s in its original packaging and never used. It is amazing to think this has been around for 70+ years.
The hair net inside is still intact and is described as: 'Dupont Nylon Human Style Mesh Hair Net'. This was for sale in America for .10 cents at the time. The hair net itself has never been used and is still wrapped up inside the envelope in its original deep blue tissue paper.
The back of the envelope says: 'This Vogue HAIR NET IS GUARANTEED TO BE PERFECT. Should any imperfections be found before using, it will be replaced with a new net. UTMOST INVISIBILITY. This Net is made to resemble a human hair net in appearance, invisibility, texture and mesh construction.'
A fabulous piece of beauty memorabilia from during the war years.
